The MESA MAX features a SMARTSecure system that takes the guesswork out of installation, providing new parents confidence every time. The infant inlay is newly designed to optimize fit, better airway management, and body positioning for infants between 4-11lbs. The infinite adjust headrest allows for a more accurate and customized fit, while the no-rethread harness adjusts with the headrest for convenience.

The increased size of the UPF hideaway canopy offers extra sun protection and privacy, 43% larger than the current MESA canopy. The new 4th anti-rebound handle position provides increased safety in rebound and rear-impact collisions when installing without the base. European Routing offers a more secure installation when installing without the base, and the side ventilation promotes airflow.

The MESA MAX base includes a load leg for increased safety and reduction in head/neck injury, as well as an anti-rebound+ panel for increased safety in rebound and rear-impact collisions. The SMARTSecure® System installs in seconds, with a red-to-green tightness indicator, and a built-in lock-off for secure seatbelt installation. Bubble level indicators on both sides aid in getting the correct angle during installation, and the streamlined, low-profile base has a four-position adjustable foot to accommodate various car seat angles.

The MESA MAX is made with FR-free fabric and foam, and is GREENGUARD Gold Certified to support healthier air quality and low chemical emissions. The adjustable headrest is reinforced with EPP foam to help absorb energy, and the integrated side impact protection keeps baby's head protected during a collision. The 4th rebound carry handle position allows for increased safety and aids in absorbing rebound forces.

The MESA MAX can be installed in seconds with the SmartSecure system, auto-retracting LATCH design, bubble level indicators, and red to green visual indicators.
