The UPPAbaby MESA V2 infant car seat is designed to provide superior protection and comfort for babies weighing 4-35 lbs and up to 32 inches in height. The carrier itself weighs under 10 lbs, with soft, breathable and moisture-wicking fabrics that help keep baby cool and comfortable.

Included with the MESA V2 is an infant insert, wedge, and low harness position, specifically recommended for preemies and smaller newborns weighing 4-11 lbs. The updated fit inlay ensures optimized positioning for the infant's body. An adjustable headrest with Side Impact Protection helps absorb energy and keep the baby's head secure during a collision.

For added safety, the no-rethread harness adjusts seamlessly with the headrest, and a 4th anti-rebound handle position increases protection in the event of a rear-impact or rebound collision. Convenient storage pockets keep the harness buckles neatly tucked away. The seat fabric is easily removable and washable for simple maintenance.

The MESA V2 also features a larger UPF 25+ hideaway canopy, 20% larger than the previous model, providing extra sun protection and privacy. It attaches directly to UPPAbaby's VISTA and CRUZ strollers without the need for adapters, allowing for a smooth transition from car to stroller.

Notably, the MESA V2 is made with fire retardant-free fabrics, including the canopy. The Merino wool used is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, a naturally flame-resistant material with hypoallergenic and temperature-regulating properties.

For a secure installation without the base, the MESA V2 offers European Routing, which secures the carrier at three points of contact to minimize movement. The innovative SmartSecure system, auto-retracting LATCH design, and four-position adjustable foot make installation quick and simple.

Buckling up is a breeze with the single crotch buckle position and no-rethread, adjustable harness. The convenient carry handle features a stroller release button, allowing for a seamless transition from car to stroller, with the option to face the baby towards you while strolling.
